The following details of each Championship Round include dates that entries will open.

Round 1, Sunday 18th April 2021 SMSP Gardner (GP) Circuit. ENTRIES CLOSED

Round 1 of the 2021 Motorsport Australia Zestino Tires NSW Supersprint Championship is to be held on Sunday 18th April at the Sydney Motorsport Park Gardner (GP) Circuit.

This event is being conducted under Return to Race safety conditions which means that:
(a) No in person sign-on will be conducted on the day. All documents will need to be completed and submitted online through the ARDC Competitor Portal.
(b) There will be no vehicle safety checks in the morning for Registrants, however all competitors with a competition number between 900 and 999 will need to present their cars to scrutineering prior to competition for a visual safety check. All entrants are to perform a Self Scrutiny Vehicle Check. A Scrutineering Label is required prior to competing and will be available for collection from Scrutineering at the same time as Log Book checking.
(c) There will be no in person Drivers Briefing. Competitors must download the Drivers Briefing Information Sheet then declare that they have read it via the ARDC Competitor Portal.

Preferential Entries (ie Championship Registrants Only) were due to open on Monday 22nd February 2021, however changes to the ARDC’s online entry system has delayed this. Entry opening now expected first week in March. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt with general entries opening on Monday 8th March 2021. All entries will close on Sunday 4th April 2021.

Round 2, Sunday 16th May 2021 Wakefield Park Raceway. ENTRIES CLOSED

Round 2 of the 2021 Motorsport Australia Zestino Tires NSW Supersprint Championship is to be held on Sunday 16th May at Wakefield Park Raceway.

Hosted by the MX-5 Club of NSW

Preferential Entries (ie Championship Registrants Only) will open on Friday 2nd April 2021. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt. All entries will close on Sunday 2nd May 2021.

This event is being conducted under Return to Race safety conditions which means that:
(a) No in person sign-on will be conducted on the day. All documents will need to be completed and emailed back to the Club’s Event Secretary.
(b) There will be no vehicle safety checks in the morning for Registrants, however all competitors with a competition number between 900 and 999 will need to present their cars to scrutineering prior to competition for a visual safety check. All entrants are to perform a Self Scrutiny Vehicle Check. A Scrutineering Label is required prior to competing and will be available for collection from Scrutineering at the same time as Log Book checking.

Round 3, Sunday 30th May 2021 SMSP Druitt (North) Circuit. ENTRIES CLOSED.

Round 3 of the 2021 Motorsport Australia Zestino Tires NSW Supersprint Championship is to be held on Sunday 30th May at the Sydney Motorsport Park Druitt (North) Circuit.

Hosted by the NSW Road Racing Club

Preferential Entries (ie Championship Registrants Only) will open on Saturday 24th April 2021. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt with general entries opening on Saturday 1st May 2021. All entries will close 10:00pm Sunday 16th May 2021.

This event is being conducted under Return to Race safety conditions which means that:
(a) No in person sign-on will be conducted on the day. All documents will need to be completed and emailed back to the Event Secretary before the Closing Date as below.
(b) All competitors with a competition number between 900 and 999 will need to present their cars to scrutineering prior to competition for a safety check.
(c) All competitors who do not have a Motorsport Australia Log Book are to perform a Self Scrutiny Vehicle Check.
(d) Targeted Scrutiny will be in place for competitors who have a Motorsport Australia Log Book.
(e) There will be an in person Drivers Briefing on the day which will cover key points. Competitors must still download and read the Drivers Briefing Notes.

Entry and payment will be via the online Motorsport Australia Event Entry system. Entrants can access this system through the Motorsport Australia Member Portal on the Motorsport Australia homepage. You can login to this portal using your Motorsport Australia ID (licence number) and your Portal password.

Round 5, Sunday 8th August 2021 Wakefield Park Raceway. OPEN

Round 5 of the 2021 Motorsport Australia Zestino Tires NSW Supersprint Championship will be held on Sunday 18th October at Wakefield Park Raceway.

Preferential Entries (ie Championship Registrants Only) will open on Monday 14th June 2021. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt with general entries opening on Monday 28th June 2021. All entries will close on Sunday 25th July 2021.

  1. Please note that under the 2021 Supersprint Championship format there will be no Competitors Sign on with the Event Secretary before competition starts, as all required documentation should have already been submitted electronically. Competitors are to proceed directly to the Scrutineering Bay to collect their scrutineering stickers prior to the Drivers Briefing. Competitors who have not provided all the required documentation before the event will be sent to the Event Secretary to complete it before a scrutineering sticker is provided.
  2. Once the self scrutiny safety check has been performed and the Drivers Briefing Notes have been read, competitors are to complete and sign the above SSP 06, 07 and 08 documents, then scan and email them to the Event Secretary by no later than the Event Closing Date, in order to complete their entry.
  3. If the vehicle you are entering is not in your name in the vehicle’s Log Book or Registration Papers, competitors must download document SSP 19 Legal Owners Declaration, have it signed and then present it to Scrutineering when collecting your scrutineering sticker.

Round 6, Sunday 19th September 2021 SMSP Druitt (North) Circuit.

Round 6 of the 2021 Motorsport Australia Zestino Tires NSW Supersprint Championship is to be held on Sunday 19th September at the Sydney Motorsport Park Druitt (North) Circuit.

Hosted by the NSW Road Racing Club

Preferential Entries (ie Championship Registrants Only) will open on Monday 26th July 2021. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt with general entries opening on Monday 9th August 2021. All entries will close on Sunday 5th September 2021.

Entry cost is $270 and $250 for NSWRRC members. An additional $20 “Early Bird” discount for all entries received by 15th August.

This event is being conducted under Return to Race safety conditions which means that:
(a) No in person sign-on will be conducted on the day. Online form SSP 09 Risk Warning, Disclaimer, Indemnity & Statement of Vehicle Compliance is to be submitted to the Club’s Event Secretary prior to the Closing date. This form incorporates the Self Scrutiny Vehicle Check that competitors without Log Book are required to perform.
b) On the day all competitors are to go directly to the Scrutineering Shed to collect their Scrutineering Label, bring their Helmet and Log Book or Proof of Vehicle Registration in their name. If the vehicle is not in your name, a completed and signed SSP 19 Automobile Legal Owners Declaration will also need to be presented prior to a Scrutineering Label being issued.
(c) There will be no vehicle safety checks in the morning for Championship Registrants, however all competitors with a competition number between 900 and 999 will need to present their cars to scrutineering prior to competition for a visual safety check.
(d) Supplementary Regulations for the event are:

SSP 11 Supplementary Regulations Part 2 (Regulations covering this Round of the Championship)
(e) Competitors must also download the Drivers Briefing Information Sheet and read it as you will be required to declare that you have whilst completing online form SSP 09 as above.

Entry will be via the online Motorsport Australia Event Entry system. Entrants can access this system through the Motorsport Australia Member Portal on the Motorsport Australia homepage. You can login to this portal using your Motorsport Australia ID (licence number) and your Portal password.

Round 7 / Australian National Supersprint Championship
Sunday 21st November 2021 SMSP Gardner (GP) Circuit.

The Australian National Supersprint Championships were to be held in November 2020, but as Motorsport Australia advised that no Australian National Championships were to be held while there are border closures in place, this event was postponed to Sunday 21st November 2021, and will be held on the SMSP Gardner (GP) Circuit.

Hosted by the Australian Racing Drivers Club

The format for this event will be a day/night event with competition from 11:00am through to 10:00pm, the later sessions being under lights. 2 hours of familiarisation will be available for interstate competitors only from 9:00am.

Preferential Entries (ie Championship Registrants Only from all states) will open on Monday 27th September 2021. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt with general entries opening on Monday 9th August 2021. All entries will close on Sunday 7th November 2021.
