If you have a Log Booked car that requires an FHR as above but you only want to run it in Speed events, you can download a Change of Ownership / Car Details Form and send it in with your log book requesting to have your Log Book changed to Category 7 Speed. An FHR is not required if you have a Category 7 Log Book.

Please also note that if you have a harness fitted in your Road Registered Car that has it stated on it that it is for use with an FHR, then an FHR is required.
